Accomodation:

Besides backroad tours, we
also offer accomodation in cozy cabins on our little farm, hearty
meals and the hospitality of our rural life. When we say 'please,
feel right at home' we really mean it!

This is our house. Not big but
cozy. Our guest cabins are up on the rocks and nestled among trees, overlooking
the Innonoaklin valley and the scenic Selkirk mountain range. Both cabins
are equipped with a double bed, table and chairs, fireplace and electric
heaters. Additional cots can be set up. Outside each cabin are a picnic
table and BBQ pit. No running water, containers only. Outhouse/washroom
between the cabins. Besides that, the bathroom in our house is at your
convenience. No cooking facilities in cabins. Our guests usually ask for
full meals.

Meals:
|
We
only serve wholesome, homecooked meals to our guests. Organically
grown vegetables from the garden, farm eggs and quality meat from
the ranch. We make our own bread ( German style sourdough rye).
We love to treat our guests to hearty meals and home baked goodies.
If you are a vegeterian or in need of a special diet – no problem.
Just advise us.
... And last but
not least – our guests are contributing to the menu with the fish
they caught!

remote little town of Edgewood we don’t need to be bored, we can always
find entertainment and adventure! |

Miscellaneous:
We share our back yard
with all kinds of wildlife like deer, elk, bear and cougar. Our guests
enjoy feeding the squirrels and chipmunks on the windowsills of the cabins
plus a colorful variety of birds. Rabbits and marmots are scurrying around,
too. They just love the petunias in the flower pots around the cabins

You absolutely won't
find any stress here. We do things on 'Edgewood time' - simple and laid
back. Tour plans and schedules are flexible - rather than being rigid
and pre-organized - and sometimes may lead to unexpected adventures. If
you like quiet and remote places as well as nice company and good food,
if you like to unwind in beautiful settings and fresh air, away from traffic
and industry and if you are willing to do without the luxory of a destination
resort, then we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us. Our guests
are being treated like friends and included in our circle but they also
can do things on their own any time they want to. So far, everybody loved
the relaxed atmosphere around here and the fact that they had a chance
to learn about life and people in Edgewood. Especially our young guests
say: hey, that’s just like home! A wonderful compliment to us ...
