The small community of Edgewood is located on the shores of the Lower Arrow Lake, about 190km south of Revelstoke and 130km east of Vernon, British Columbia. Turn-off is from Highway 6, 8km west of Needles Ferry Landing. The Inonoaklin Valley road runs along the Inonoaklin River and ends at the village and the lake. Although there are only about 150 people living in town and about 250 more on farms scattered throughout the beautiful Inonoaklin valley, there is always something to do, whether you are looking for outdoor recreation, entertainment or just a BBQ on the beach. In the little village of Edgewood you'll find almost everything you need. Edgewood has a General Store with gas station, a Post Office, Red Cross outpost hospital, elementary school, Internet access center, Credit Union bank, Legion Hall and a unique restaurant that is the center of the local music scene with jam sessions every other Friday night. Eagle Creek campground is located right at the lake and attracts many tourists every year. There are also boat launching facilities. Outdoor enthusiasts will find opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife watching. Carol's Garden Restaurant is popular with the the local music scene At the Red Cross Outpost Hospital, two nurses and one hospital bed are at your service. Ambulance and Crew are also available The Edgewood Elementary School also hosts the public library and the Internet Access Center.

Park and Cenotaph. Visitors can take a rest on benches overlooking the Arrow Lake, go for a stroll, or play a game of tennis at the adjacent tennis court The Arrow Credit Union, where visitors can conveniently do their banking. (MasterCard only) There's also a cash machine at the General Store Log dump at Needles ferry landing where logging trucks dump their loads and logs are then towed down the lake to Castlegar. In the background, you can see the Powerline Road, a rough 4x4 road that takes us into the Valhalla range and the Slocan valley.
