The small community of Edgewood is located on the shores of the Lower Arrow Lake, about 190km south of Revelstoke and 130km east of Vernon, British Columbia. Turn-off is from Highway 6, 8km west of Needles Ferry Landing. The Inonoaklin Valley road runs along the Inonoaklin River and ends at the village and the lake.
Although there are only about 150 people living in town and about 250 more on farms scattered throughout the beautiful Inonoaklin valley, there is always something to do, whether you are looking for outdoor recreation, entertainment or just a BBQ on the beach.
In the little village of Edgewood you'll find almost everything you need. Edgewood has a General Store with gas station, a Post Office, Red Cross outpost hospital, elementary school, Internet access center, Credit Union bank, Legion Hall and a unique restaurant that is the center of the local music scene with jam sessions every other Friday night.
Eagle Creek campground is located right at the lake and attracts many tourists every year. There are also boat launching facilities.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife watching.
