These are the same size as a normal 3-ring binder (1" - 26mm) except the covers are 1/2" (13mm) thick. Carved from cedar, they are coated with a light, non-toxic oil for protection and also to bring out the colors and patterns. Hinges are made from leather. Headings for your cover are woodburned & stained and can be ones such as "Our Wedding", "Our Baby", "Guest Book", a company logo or a specific title like "Linda's Book".
